Solo Show at Kalamazoo Nature Center

Come to my reception on Sunday, April 21st. There will be free admission to the Nature Center during the reception...a great way to celebrate Earth Day and see what I've been working on! In addition to my pastels, the show will feature Solarplate Etchings and Digital Prints.

Lots of starts and stops, but finally finished. The trilliums grow in our back yard. There were other plants in the background making it a little too busy, so I found a photo I had taken of the forest floor at the local nature center and used that for the background instead. Love the moss!

I'm so thrilled...Leelanau Sunrise won the Gold Medal at the 2012 Great Lakes Pastel Society National Show held at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. The show is up until Jan. 8, 2013.
